Our Mission
CryoStats exists to solve a problem that every research lab knows well: finding a sample takes too long, costs too much time, and sometimes costs the sample itself. Freezer doors left open while you dig. Tubes mislabeled or unlabeled. Boxes shifted to make room. Researchers leaving without passing on the map in their head.
We believe scientists should spend their time on science, not on inventory archaeology. CryoStats is our answer to that belief.
What We're Building
CryoStats is a native app for iPhone and Mac built for research lab sample management. It combines the spatial clarity of a physical inventory map with fast search and a flexible data model, so logging and finding samples is faster than any spreadsheet or freezer binder.
Every piece of data stays on your device and in your own iCloud account. No third-party servers. No obscure cloud database. Your samples, your data, your control.

Privacy by design
We built CryoStats to have zero visibility into your data. We have no servers storing your samples. We can't lose what we never had.
Built for researchers
Not IT. Not administrators. The scientists standing at the freezer at 11pm trying to find a tube from 2021, we built it for them.
Research only
CryoStats is not a medical device and is not intended for clinical use or clinical lab use.
Offline-first
CryoStats works fully without an internet connection. Your inventory is always available, whether you're at the bench or in a cold room with no signal.
